The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education has made available the detailed figures of student participation in addition to Class 10th and 12th exam results and pass percentages for the two exams separately. This information is provided in addition to the result sheet which was published with the results themselves.In this year’s exam, a total of 1,12,266 students had applied for appearing in High School exam, out of which 1,08,983 appeared while 1,00,373 have passed. A total number of 1,02,986 had applied for appearing in the Intermediate exam.10th Class pass percentage and gender statisticsIn High School Exam results, overall pass percentage was 92.10 percent. The pass percentage for girls stood at 96.07 percent while boys passed at 88.03 percent.Category-wise pass statistics included institutional candidates with a pass percentage of 92.47 percent while individual candidates scored 65.05 percent.According to result statistics, 7,935 students were declared honours pass scoring above 75 percent marks. In division-wise performance, there were 30,734 students who scored first division, 46,708 passed in second division and 14,986 in third division.Intermediate examination result and ratio of gendersIn the Intermediate examination, the pass percentage came to be around 85.11 per cent. The females proved to be superior once again in comparison to males by obtaining 88.09 per cent, while boys scored 81.93 per cent.This gender disparity in both High School and Intermediate examinations has turned out to be a dominant factor statistically speaking in the results this time around.As far as district wise results were concerned, Bageshwar secured the top position in both examinations, scoring 94.81 per cent in Class 12 examinations. In the High School examinations, this figure amounted to 96.98 per cent.Meritorious performances and results comparisonsAccording to the board, this year’s result saw an improvement of 1.33 percent in comparison to last year. A total of 207 meritorious students made it to the state merit list.Akshat Gopal came out on top among all students scoring 98.20 percent in the Class 10 exam. Geetika Pant and Sushila Mendiratta shared first position with 98 percent marks in the Class 12 exam.The information regarding results also covered the figures of the High School Improvement Exam, in which the pass percentage was 68.67 percent.Now that figures related to pass percentages, number of participants, and sex ratio have been provided, the statistical outline of the board examinations in 2026 has become clear.
