Suryakumar Yadav and Devisha Shetty become parents for the first time: Their love story

Long before he became one of India’s most dangerous finishers, Suryakumar Yadav was a regular college boy in Mumbai. Born on September 14, 1990, he grew up in a close‑knit family and began his first‑class cricket journey in the 2010–11 Ranji season. A few years later, in 2011, he entered the IPL with Mumbai Indians (MI), and after a brief stint with Kolkata Knight Riders, he returned to MI in 2014, where he’s stayed ever since.

At the same time, in the same city, Devisha Shetty was building a life away from the cricket‑stadium glare. Born on November 7, 1993, into a South Indian family in Mumbai, Devisha was raised in a comfortable, supportive home. Her father, Devdas Shetty, is a hotelier, and her mother, Lata Shetty, a homemaker. Devisha went to Bombay Scottish School and then earned her degree in commerce from R.A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics.

But where her formal education met her true passion was dance. Devisha wasn’t just someone who liked dancing—she pursued it professionally and became a dance coach in Mumbai. Her world spun around rhythm, movement, and expression—quietly different from the high‑voltage pace of cricket, yet just as disciplined.
