KURNOOL: At least eight people were killed and 12 others injured after a lorry collided with a tanker near Chilakaladona in Mantralayam mandal of Kurnool district on Thursday, police said. According to Kurnool police officials, the victims have been identified as pilgrims from Karnataka’s Chikkamagaluru region. The injured were rushed to Emmiganur government hospital for treatment.(With agency inputs)
