The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has extended the application deadline for Class 10 and Class 12 compartment and improvement examinations. Students now have additional time to submit their forms with or without a late fee. The exams are scheduled to be held in June and July 2026.Candidates can now submit their application forms without any late fee until June 5, 2026. Earlier, the last date for submission without a late fee was June 1.Students who miss the June 5 deadline can still apply by paying a late fee. HPBOSE has fixed June 10, 2026, as the last date for submitting applications with a late fee of Rs 1,000.For Class 10 students, the revised dates apply to compartment examinations, essential improvement category, optional improvement category and applications for one additional subject. All these categories can be submitted by June 5 without a late fee and by June 10 with a late fee.The extension is also available for Class 12 compartment examinations, English-only examinations, improvement of performance applications and one additional subject. The same deadlines of June 5 and June 10 will apply.Students who are planning to improve their scores or clear compartment papers should use the extended window to complete their applications within the revised schedule to avoid last-minute issues.Applications have to be submitted through respective schools only.
