The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially announced the date and time for the declaration of the HSC Result 2026. As per the notification issued by the board, the Class 12 results will be declared online on May 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM across official platforms.The announcement follows the completion of examinations conducted between February and March 2026. The board confirmed that the results will be released simultaneously through multiple official websites to ensure accessibility for students across the state.Official websites and access detailsStudents will be able to check their results on results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in and hscresult.mkcl.org. The board has stated that all candidates who appeared for the examination can view and download their provisional marksheets from these portals.Digital result documents will also be available through the DigiLocker application, allowing students to securely store and access their marksheets. In addition, junior colleges will be able to access consolidated results of their students through the official login provided on the board website.Press conference and declaration processThe board will conduct a press conference at 11:00 AM on May 2, 2026 at its Pune office prior to the release of results. During this briefing, key details related to the examination and performance are expected to be shared before activating the result link at 1:00 PM.The HSC examination was conducted through nine divisional boards including Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.Post-result processes and re-evaluationFollowing the declaration of results, students will have the option to apply online for verification of marks and obtain photocopies of answer sheets for specific subjects. Applications for these services can be submitted from May 3 to May 17, 2026 through the official website with payment of the prescribed fee.Students seeking re-evaluation must first obtain a photocopy of the answer sheet and then apply within five working days from the date of receipt. The board has advised candidates to contact their respective divisional offices for further procedures related to re-evaluation.Improvement scheme and supplementary examsCandidates who pass the HSC examination will be eligible to appear for the Class Improvement Scheme. This allows students to improve their scores by reappearing in up to three consecutive sessions, including June–July 2026, February–March 2027 and June–July 2027.The board has stated that a separate notification will be issued regarding supplementary examinations, category corrections and applications for private candidates.
