CRPF opens application correction window for Constable Tradesman recruitment 2026

CRPF Tradesman correction window 2026: The Central Reserve Police Force has opened a correction facility for candidates who have applied for the Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. According to an official notice issued by the force, applicants will be able to modify their submitted online application forms from May 21 to May 23, 2026.The recruitment drive was announced through a notification released on April 8, 2026, followed by an amendment notice on April 17, 2026. CRPF stated that the correction window has been introduced after requests from candidates seeking an opportunity to edit details submitted in their application forms after the closure of the registration process.

Correction facility available for completed applicationsCRPF said only candidates whose application forms were successfully submitted along with the prescribed application fee, wherever applicable, within the specified timeline will be allowed to make corrections. Candidates will be permitted to edit details in the one-time registration data and re-submit the revised application form during the correction period.The force also clarified that the latest corrected application form submitted by a candidate will be treated as final. No further opportunity for modification will be provided after the correction window closes.The online application process for the recruitment started on April 20, 2026, and will continue until May 19, 2026. Candidates can submit applications through the official CRPF recruitment portals.Recruitment drive includes 9,195 vacanciesThe CRPF recruitment notification announced a total of 9,195 vacancies for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) posts across different trades. The recruitment will be conducted on a state-wise domicile basis.The vacancies include posts such as Driver, Motor Mechanic, Cook, Barber, Tailor, Washerman and Safai Karamchari, along with Pioneer Wing positions including Mason and Electrician. Educational qualification requirements vary by trade, with most posts requiring Class 10 qualification, while some technical posts also require ITI certification, experience or a heavy driving licence.Selection process and examination detailsThe recruitment process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Computer Based Test, Trade or Skill Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.The Computer Based Test will carry 100 questions for 100 marks and will include sections on Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English or Hindi. The examination duration will be two hours, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
