Ananya Panday and Lakshya are set to share screen space in the Karan Johar-backed film ‘Chand Mera Dil’, directed by Vivek Soni. The leads will be seen playing the roles of Chandni and Aarav. And now, the makers of the romantic drama have dropped the first-look posters of the movie online. With that, the official release date of the movie has also been unveiled. Let’s take a look at it.
‘Chand Mera Dil’ first look posters
Karan Johar dropped the first posters of the film on his social media. While the storyline of ‘Chand Mera Dil’ has not been revealed, the captions on the posters give the gist of it. In the first image, Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s characters can be seen casually having a conversation while on a bed. The next poster showcased them leaning on each other while sitting. It looked like an intense moment from the movie. The third image has them sitting close to each other in a college classroom. Meanwhile, the last poster showcased their carefree avatars.The captions on the first look images read, “Falling in love is easy; growing up is not,” “When life changes the syllabus” and “When love grows faster than life.”Meanwhile, Karan Johar captioned the post, “A love story where…life happens faster than love. First-look announcement
On Sunday, Karan Johar took to his social media accounts to announce that the first look will be out on Monday, April 6, at 11 am. Sharing a poster of Ananya Panday and Lakshya walking on a street, with him being shirtless and his one arm around her waist. The caption of the post read, “Pyaar ka koi fixed route nahi hota…bas thoda paagal hona padta hai! See you tomorrow at 11AM to meet our Aarav & Chandni!”

Karan Johar had announced the film in November 2024 by dropping posters of Ananya and Lakshya together. The caption of the post read, “We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other! Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai. Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni.”At that time, the makers shared that the movie will arrive in cinemas in 2025. However, things didn’t go as planned, and hence, the romantic drama will not hit theaters this year.
