She was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night and her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle shared that she was admitted due to chest infection and is undergoing treatment. However, on Sunday, the veteran singer’s son Anand Bhosle confirmed her demise. As celebs began to pour tributes for Asha Bhosle, Athiya Shetty landed in controversy. The actress mistakenly shared a black-and-white photo of Lata Mangeshkar on her Instagram Stories along with a folded hands emoji. Although she later deleted the post, screenshots quickly surfaced on X and Reddit, triggering widespread backlash.

She is pure hearted person.” Another person said, “Asha Ji might look like this in her younger days, after all they were sisters …” Netizens also tagged Suniel Shetty and wrote, “PLEASE.” Asha Bhosle’s last rites will be held at Shivaji Park on Monday, April 13, at 4 pm. Her son Anand Bhosle also shared that fans and well-wishers can pay their last respects at her residence in Lower Parel from 11 am on Monday. “My mother Asha Bhosle has passed away today. Tomorrow at 11 AM, people can pay their last respects at her residence,” he said.
